SPIN GEAR FISHING TRIPS

Drift Fishing

Drift trips are accomplished by letting the boat drift across the flats and blind casting at pot holes and drop offs with lures.  This is very quiet and is the best way to hunt fish.  It is preferable for larger crews of 2 or 3 people, and trips with children. This trip targets mainly speckled trout, with flounder and redfish as secondary targets.

SIGHT FISHING TRIPS

Redfish Spin Gear / Fly Fishing

On a sight fishing trip, you will see the fish you are trying to catch.  There is a 2 angler maximum with one angler fishing at a time. This is the preferable method for fly fishing but can be done with spin gear also.

Accommodates up to 2 people. Polarized Sunglasses are a must in order to see the fish.

Big  Game Trips are just that.   We target Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Black  Drum, and Bull Reds. If you want a big pull, this is for you.  These  fish are caught by sight fishing so Polarized Sunglasses are a must.   Species targeted are not edible or legal to keep.  If you're the type of  Angler that loves a huge fight and doesn't care about keeping fish,  this is for you.

This  is a sight seeing trip offered only in the afternoon.  Depending on the  day, you could see Dolphins, Sea Turtles, Spotted Eagle Rays, Bald  Eagles, and even Manatees on rare occasion.  The area is teaming with  life and beauty hidden in different places and I would love to show it  to you. This trip accommodates up to 4 people or 700 lbs with a Bimini  Top available upon request.

You can book simply by using the online format, through email, or over the phone.

WHAT TO BRING

Snacks, drinks, polarized sunglasses and a hat. We recommend a jacket for early mornings outside the summer months.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

In addition to knowing where the fish are biting, I provide the boat, rods, reels, tackle, ice, cooler, bottled water and licensing.  I also clean your catch at the end of the day.

DEPOSIT

$50 Deposit Required to secure the trip. 

Make sure you have contacted us and we have written you into the calendar before sending deposit.

Deposits are non-refundable if the customer cancels the trip for ANY reason. Your captain reserves the right to make all weather and safety calls the night before or morning of your trip. We will return the deposit due to rough sea conditions, rain and muddy water. We will still be happy to run the trip if there are no safety concerns and the customer understands the sea and weather conditions. 

Live Bait is Never Used

You don't need live bait to catch trout, red fish or flounder, and it will not be brought onto the boat under any circumstances. I specialize in sport fishing with light tackle (medium to medium light rods and reels that hold 110 yards of monofiliment 10lb test) for speckled sea trout, red drum (redfish), flounder and tarpon. I use artificial lures such as top water and soft plastics, and offer drift trips, sight fishing and fly fishing charters. Drift fishing is the easiest and most effective on charters with multiple people or children.
