For 31 years Inshore Charters, now located in Panama City, has specialized in sport fishing with light tackle (medium to medium light rods and reels that hold 110 yards of monofilament 10lb test) for speckled sea trout, red drum (redfish), flounder and tarpon. For these trips, we continue use only artificial lures such as top water and soft plastics, and offer sight fishing and fly fishing the flats, though drift fishing is the most effective on charters.
We also offer Whiting Trips, Eco Tours. and Big Game trips .
The combination of working a lure in the right place at the right time and fighting a trophy trout on light tackle and a properly presented artificial lure is, in our humble opinion, the most rewarding part of being an inshore angler.
